SIMPLE STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION
Decide where you want to install, then align and level one plate. Use the crossbar to measure the distance to the other plate. Then align and level that plate too. Finally, simply click the crossbars to the plates and it's done!
Should I install the plates vertically or horizontally?
The plates can sustain your crossbars both vertically and horizontally. We recommend attaching them to your crossbars and measuring your available space directly with the crossbars.
I have 2 crossbars. How many plates should I purchase?
1 - each set comes with 2 plates that together hold a Cargo Crossbars set. If you have 2 sets of crossbars and you wish to mount them both on your wall at the same time, then you will need 2 sets wall mount plates.
Can these wall plates be installed on stud?
Yes, but you'll need a stud finder, as well as proper screws.
Can it hold the gear?
Depending on the weight of the gear, possibly yes. There is enough space between the 2 cross bars to leave some attachments.
What tools are needed to complete the installation?
You'll need a power screw driver and a level.
